The atproto firehose, sonified. Every new post rings a bell; every deleted post plucks a string. The pitch tracks how big the post's record is — the bigger it is, the deeper the note. A riff on Hatnote's Listen to Wikipedia, pointed at the Bluesky firehose instead of Wikipedia's recent-changes feed, per @mfzx.net's aside that it'd be neat to do this with the firehose. One honest gap from the original: a delete event on the firehose carries no record, so we don't always know how big a deleted post was — when we do (because we saw it created recently), the pluck uses its real size; otherwise it plays a neutral middle note and says so in the log below. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere; the whole thing runs live in your browser.
